Woah… You MAKE Dice?

Yes!

I began making dice in May of 2019, so rather recently. Here is a quick little FAQ:

How did you get into dice making?

I began playing Dungeons and Dragons! After I became obsessed with it, I did some research and took the leap after my college semester ended.

What do you make the dice from?

I use epoxy resin mixed with all sorts of things like inclusions (flowers, glitter, etc.), alcohol ink, mica powder, and more! As for how I make the dice, I make my own molds using silicone.

Do you sell them?

Yes but only in small quantities. I am only a college student who is making these things in her spare time, so its no where close to a factory system. I have sales few times a year but I do take commissions.

Why Dice and D&D?

I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons with my best friends since the summer of 2018. Compared to many fans of D&D I’m a complete and utter newbie who only has experience playing the latest version of the game. That’s a main reason I want to make this blog! I want to learn every in and out of the game, wild stories and experiences others have had playing, and show everyone what it’s like to make dice my hand.

Dice are also a major part of my D&D fascination. When I started playing, I started collecting the shiny little math rocks and eventually became infatuated with how they were made. So I did my research and began my dice making journey May 2018. Right now my Instagram – LuckyCloverDice – has 7,000 followers and I just had one of my posts reach 10K likes! It’s an amazing creative outlet and I would love to not only share my works here, but also introduce some people into the art.

Welcome!

Hello!

Welcome to my blog! This is my very first blog post and I can’t wait to start letting you all in on my dice fascination and love of Dungeons and Dragons. I’ve had amazing adventures through D&D and it’s led me to start my own dice making business, so I would love to share my story as well as hear all of yours!
